Green hydrogen and its uses in industry and renewable fuels (Power-to-X) is one of the prerequisites for a fully decarbonised energy system.
To meet the Paris Agreement’s goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees celsius, we must transform global energy usage. Decarbonising heavy industry is essential to tackling the global climate challenge, and green hydrogen offers a powerful solution for replacing fossil fuels.
Flexens develops production assets to meet future sustainable hydrogen demand. Our core capabilities in modeling and system integration are utilised to create financially viable power-to-X projects that enable the energy transition.
Green hydrogen solutions for heavy industry
Flexens, a project developer specializing in large-scale sustainable hydrogen solutions, leverages green hydrogen as a viable means to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors such as steel, chemical, and fertilizer production.
One of our key projects, a large-scale green hydrogen and ammonia plant, is currently underway in Kokkola, Finland. At the same time, we are advancing additional plant projects, as replicability is a core element in the development of our hydrogen plant concepts.
